* Basic Obedience – 2-3 week program / American Kennel Club Certification
You will receive 2 to 3 videos every 7-9 days while your sweet dog is in training so you can keep up with how well he is doing in his training.
We introduce your puppy or older dog to a crate as his den area. He will learn to enjoy this as a “safe place” to rest, sleep, eat when you cannot supervise his actions. This is especially important for puppies and dogs who become bored and begin to chew up the house while you are away at work, play, or shopping.
Next, we place your dog on a set feeding and eliminating schedule; this is critical as you teach your dog not to go potty in your home. Your dog can be taught when and where to eliminate. We will get this started and teach you how to keep it going as you “transfer this behavior” to your home. Basic Obedience (Walk Calm, Auto Sit, Wait in & out of Crate/Doors)

Your dog will be taught not to “jump on you, bolt out the door, mouth you or the children, to stay off furniture, do not chew or get into the trash”. Your “Best Friend” will be                     taught to “leave it” and to “go lay down”. These are just some of the basics, you may have other “special needs” needing attention. After your 3-4 hour Train the Trainer Turnover, You will work with your dog for 2-3 additional weeks for 10-15 min. each day to “transfer” this new behavior to the “Home Environment” or any other location. Your Pup’s Training is 100% Money Back Guaranteed or you do not pay for the training. Basic Obedience (Auto Sit, Off, Leave It, Sit & Down Stay)

Your puppy or dog will be taught to walk nicely “by your side” without pulling or putting his nose on the ground. He will learn “easy”, “wait”, “watch me”, “leave it”, “come on leash”, and do not jump on the people and dogs we meet in the park, subdivision, home as we go for a nice walk together. Walks should be a fun, happy time for you and your dog. Basic Obedience (Perfect Heal, All Commands Both Verbal & Non-Verbal, Place, Hush, Gentle, Cure Horizontal Distractions, Formal Greeting, Bath, Brush, Blow, Ears, Nails, Etc..)

D. The 4 Hour “Train the Trainer Turn Over”

On the day you pick your dog or puppy up, we will show you all that he has learned, and how he learned so quickly. This is called “Train the Trainer”. We will work with you for 3-4 hours teaching you, showing you, and allowing you to work your dog on every aspect of his training, both inside and outside our home. We will know our session is successful, when you say, “ WOW, we have it!”. You will leave for home as a Confident Dog Trainer.
Finally, we will provide you with all the commands (on paper & video) for basic obedience and ask you to feel free to call us at any time if you should have questions about your dog’s behavior. If at anytime you need more coaching for you and your family, simply call us 404-444-9329 & set up an appointment to work with you on any thing needed at no charge.
* Intermediate Obedience – 2-3 week program
Mike Sinteff is an AKC Certified Evaluator #32666
Depending on previous training and a need for a “Refresher”, your dog will be reintroduced to the concepts of Basic Obedience. If your trainer or training company says, “If your dog needs a “Refresher” you can bring him back for additional training at no cost”, your dog was not trained properly to start with. This is the case, often, with dogs who do not behave when you get them home in High Distraction Environments. He will be expected to “Show His Stuff” before we move into the Intermediate Obedience Program.
Next, We will work on increasing his obedience to the Basic Obedience Concepts even with any & all distractions to his attention. This is very important in the areas of “Sit Stay”, “Down Stay”, “Wait”, “Pulling”, Jumping on you and your quests, “Come on Leash”, etc. These concepts should have been introduced by your previous trainer in Basic Obedience and corrected before being sent home. Your dog will now need to go through what we call “Proofing”. This “Proofing” exposes your dog to “increased distractions” while he is expected to keep his focus on his handler.
Next, we introduce hand motions & signals  for “down”, “stay”, “sit”, and “come”, Etc. We also begin more time “off leash” during training sessions and on walks around our 11 acre property, fenced & cross fenced in Beautiful Dahlonega Ga. including walks in the pasture and all around the property. We will socialize and desensitize to People, Places, Things, Noises and Other Dogs
Beginning to work your dog “off leash” is a big step and takes careful specific tailored training with a focus on “consistency and persistence”. This phase is continued from the focus on week two. Week three introduces additional distractions as well as in increased duration of obedience for each command. As you receive the 2-3 videos every 7-9 days, you’ll be AMAZED!    “Proofing” is an important part of week three solidifying concepts learned in weeks one through three.

D. “Train the Trainer”

This will be an identical “Turn Over” as stated in the Basic Obedience Program. On the day you pick your dog up, (BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY) we will show you all that he has learned, and how he learned so quickly. This is called “Train the Trainer”. When we finish with you and your family, you will be a proficient handler for your dog no matter his previous behaviors. We will work with you for 3-4 hours teaching you, showing you, and allowing you to work your dog on every aspect of his training, both inside and outside our home until both of you are perfect. We will know our session is successful, when you say, “ WOW, we have it!”.

* Advanced Training 100% Off Leash Training / Go Anywhere on the Planet Off Leash!
When one begins to talk about Advanced Obedience 100% Off Leash Training for their dog, they desire to have their dog 100% off leash and 100% obedient including the area of                     “come”. The greatest challenge here is that some percentage of dogs will “choose not to come when called”, because the distraction is to great (IN THE HORIZONTAL), if the distraction is too great (boy on bicycle, small dogs, squirrels, deer, or your neighbor’s dog or cat, etc.) they will not come and will play “Catch Me If You Can”. No dog trainer in their right mind can guarantee a 100% “come” for any & ALL DOGS under EVERY circumstance; this is not wise since you do not have “ultimate control” over the dog’s choice to return to you or cross the street chasing the squirrel!  When your dog does not come 100% of the time, he is likely to get hit by a car, attack another dog or person walking down the street. Our Advanced Training Program Trains Any Dog with Any Behavior to be 100% Obedient Both On & Off Leash.

B. “Electric Collar”

is the only option for 100% “come”. If you decide to do Advanced Training 100% Off Leash, your dog will be evaluated for the proper setting. Like any tool,           e-collars, if used correctly, will NOT CAUSE ANY NEGATIVE ISSUES OR BEHAVIOR; MIKE SINTEFF GUARANTEES THE SAFE USE OF THE E-COLLAR. GIVE MIKE A CALL TODAY FOR A VERY DETAILED EXPLAINATION OF HOW THE E-COLLAR WILL BE CORRECTLY USED. This evaluation process usually takes a week to complete. Under “normal distractions” a dog works very well “off leash” with verbal and nonverbal / hand commands. The addition of the Electric Collar allows your dog to be “off leash” all the time, not matter the distraction in the horizontal including High Pray Drive and High Ball Drive, also including all issues related to dog and people aggression. The Electric Collar becomes your dog’s electronic leash. The use of the Electric Collar becomes the way you “reach out and touch” your dog when it will not come.

C. There is much more to discuss here

– so let us leave this more detailed discussion to a telephone conversation. Call Mike Sinteff 404-444-9329. and be ready for at least a 1/2 hour dissertation to the benefits of the e-collar when used by a Professional Dog Trainer with 26 years experience.
